On the Gunflint Trail

Family time, canoeing, lakes, hiking, flowers, wild blueberries, wild raspberries, lemonade, hot chocolate, fudge, Grand Marais, Lake Superior, Grand Portage, BWCA day trips, ice cream sandwiches, World's Best Donuts, girls lunch out, Cribbage, Cranium, relay races, tacos, hamburgers, chicken kabobs, s'mores, millions of stars, loons, eagles, overly friendly chipmunks, swimming in ice cold water, reading, talking, napping, repeat.

    Sounds like you had a wonderful vacation!

    I think you should enter that photo of Clare and Grandma into a contest. It's so cool!!!

    Also? I'm impressed that not only did you go camping in your last trimester of pregnancy, but Clare went camping, too!!!

    Is she wearing Spiderman swim trunks in that top photo?

      Well, we weren't exactly roughing it - we were staying in a cabin with indoor plumbing and a fully equipped kitchen. :) Also, yes, she is wearing Spiderman swim trunks! I got them on clearance for this trip.

      Oh, and I should give my Dad credit - he took the photo of my mom and Clare.
