Shouldn't we just worry about our own little family and stop judging about epidural vs. no epidural, breastfeeding vs. formula, co-sleeping vs. CIO in the crib, and working moms vs. SAH moms? There are pros and cons to everything in life. (Well, almost everything.)
With Adam I could not WAIT to be done nursing. I weaned him at 7 months & felt like dancing in the streets when I had my body back.
I nursed Ben until he was one and actually felt kind of sad to be done (although I didn't miss pumping at work!)
Both times I kind of gradually replaced feedings with other food, and didn't have any issues - but I have heard it's safe to take Benadryl (it will help dry up your milk production).CMShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01748652964281422394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-39021260008541038.post-23629446444118175962012-04-27T07:55:17.907-05:002012-04-27T07:55:17.907-05:00Oh Em, you're right. I won't give any advice since I weaned Mason at 10 weeks, but I can tell you that I was worried he wouldn't cuddle anymore once we were done with bottles/feedings -- but it's not true! He still lets me rock him for a bit every night. She'll still be cuddly. She'll still always want mama before anyone else. Promise.A.http://www.amandagates.comnoreply@blogger.com
